How the conversion works
Percentage = CGPA ÷ 4 × 100
CGPA = Percentage ÷ 100 × 4
VU grades on a 4.00 scale, so the formula divides your CGPA by 4 and multiplies by 100. This is the same as multiplying your CGPA by 25. A CGPA of 3.00 is 75%.
This is not your marks percentage
The result is your CGPA written as a percentage. It is not the average of your marks in each course, which can be different. When a form asks for "percentage of marks", check whether it means this conversion or your actual marks.
