Are VU past papers free?

Yes. Every past paper is free to read on its page. On the website you can download 3 files a day. The Chrome extension raises that to 30 and the Android app has no limit.

What is the difference between solved and unsolved papers?

Solved papers show the correct answer for each MCQ. Unsolved papers are the paper as students remembered it from the exam.

Which papers should I start with?

Start with the most recent semester for your course, then the solved collections by Moaaz and Waqar Siddhu, which gather several years of papers in one file.
