The Fall 2026 midterm date sheet is not open yet
VU announces it on VULMS a few weeks before exams. Plan your slots now so you can book on the first day.
How to make your VU date sheet
You book everything yourself on datesheet.vu.edu.pk. Two of the steps are final, so decide before you click Confirm.
- 1 Sign in on datesheet.vu.edu.pk Use your VULMS ID and password. For password problems, email [email protected].
- 2 Choose your exam city This is optional. Overseas students choose Overseas.
- 3 Choose your exam centre Can't change later You only see centres that still have seats. Once you pick one, every paper this term is at that centre.
- 4 Pick a date and start time for a course Can't change later Choose from the slots still free at your centre, then click Confirm.
- 5 Repeat for each course Book your remaining courses one by one, the same way.
- 6 Get your exam password and print your slip Use the button at the bottom of the page. Keep the printed slip for every exam day.
Book on the first day
Each exam centre has a limited number of seats in each slot, and they are given out first come, first served. Students who book late often find their nearest centre full and have to pick one much further from home, or take whatever slots are left.
- Know when it opens VU announces the date sheet on VULMS. Check daily as midterms get close.
- Pick your centre now Have your first choice and a backup centre ready before you sign in.
- Plan your order Decide which course goes first so you can confirm each slot without stopping.
Plan your slots before you book
Work out which course goes when before the date sheet opens, so you can confirm each one quickly. The planner puts your papers in order and shows the gap between them.

Deadlines and late fees
Booking is free until the first deadline. After that you can still book for a few more days with a late fee, and the fee goes up again after the second deadline. VU announces the exact dates each term when the date sheet opens.

On exam day
- Take your printed exam slip. You need it to get into the exam centre on every exam date.
- Go to the centre you booked, at the start time you booked. All times are Pakistan Standard Time, including for overseas students.
- Papers are taken on VU's exam software, VUTES. Try the demo on datesheet.vu.edu.pk before your first paper.
