Just sharing my experience from the CS206 final exam I only prepared the **57-ish final-term MCQs available on past papers** and memorized some important abbreviations. Based on my own paper, the exam went quite well. I attempted **2 long questions with 100% confidence, securing 10 marks for sure** from there. One long question was about the **colors of different tabs in Expert Infos**. There was a table where one column had things like **Errors, Warnings, Chat, Notes, Packet Comment**, and we had to write their corresponding colors. For example, **Error = Red, Warning = Yellow, Notes = Cyan, Packet Comment = Green**, etc. This question was worth **5 marks**. Another long question asked us to simply write the **names of the tabs available in Expert Infos**, such as **Error, Warning, Notes**, etc. So I would suggest reviewing these two topics once before the exam. As for the MCQs, if you properly prepare the **57 final-term MCQs from past papers** along with understanding the concepts, you can probably get around **12 MCQs confidently correct** based on my paper. However, the questions were **not exactly the same**; the wording was changed slightly, so make sure you understand the concepts rather than just memorizing them. If your goal is **just to pass**, I think preparing these MCQs properly, understanding the concepts, and preparing the **Expert Infos long questions** can give you a good chance. Also, revise the important **abbreviations**. I personally didn't prepare them very well. For example, I wasn't completely sure about the full form of **SACK (Selective Acknowledgment)**, but I selected it as a guess and fortunately, it turned out to be correct. For the remaining 20–21 MCQs, I mostly used logic and educated guesses. Around **10–12 of them** I was able to solve logically based on my understanding, so there was roughly a 50/50 chance for some of them. The remaining **5–8 MCQs were complete guesses**. I only needed **20 marks to pass**, and based on the MCQs and long questions I attempted confidently, I believe I have already secured enough marks to pass. Any additional marks will just be a bonus. **In short:** Prepare the **57-ish past papers final-term MCQs with concepts**, revise **Expert Infos tabs + their colors**, and go through the **important abbreviations** once. This should give you a solid preparation base for the exam. This is only based on **my experience with the current paper**, so the paper pattern can vary for others.
